Aliko Dangote, the Chairman of Dangote Group, has retained his position as Africa's wealthiest man, according to Forbes' Real-time Billionaires' List. With a net worth of $16.4 billion, Dangote ranks 88th globally, far ahead of his Nigerian peers.

Abdulsamad Rabiu and Mike Adenuga follow behind in 516th and 592nd positions, respectively. Dangote has held the title of Africa's richest man for 14 consecutive years, driven by his investments in cement, sugar, and a landmark petroleum refinery set to launch in 2023.

Other prominent African billionaires on the list include Johann Rupert from South Africa, Nassef Sawiris and Naguib Sawiris from Egypt, and Strive Masiyiwa from Zimbabwe. Dangote's continued dominance in Africa's wealth hierarchy highlights his role as a symbol of Nigeria's industrial strength.
