Dangote Dominates as New List Shows Two Nigerians Rise in Global Billionaires Ranking

Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote has solidified his position as Africa's wealthiest individual, topping the Forbes Billionaires List with a net worth of $11.5 billion and ranking 88th globally. His compatriots Abdulsamad Rabiu and Mike Adenuga also made significant strides, ranking 516th and 592nd, respectively.

Dangote has consistently led the Africa billionaire index since 2008, with interests in cement, sugar production, and a newly launched mega refinery. Rabiu and Adenuga, with investments in cement, sugar, oil, gas, and telecommunications, have also climbed the global wealth rankings.

In Egypt, Johann Rupert leads with $7.7 billion, followed by Nicky Oppenheimer with $7.5 billion. The report also highlights wealthy individuals from Eswatini, Morocco, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.

Dangote's fortune is on track to reach $30 billion, sparking speculation about his historic achievement.
