Dembélé Wins Ligue 1 Player of the Year Again

Ousmane Dembélé, a forward for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has been awarded the Ligue 1 Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. At 28 years old, he becomes the fifth player in history to win this award back-to-back.

Dembélé's performance was pivotal in helping PSG secure the Ligue 1 title and reach the Champions League final. Despite facing injury challenges, he managed to deliver strong statistics, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in just nine Ligue 1 matches, totaling 960 minutes of playtime.

This contrasts with his previous season, where he played 1,736 minutes across 20 starts. PSG clinched the Ligue 1 title with a 1-0 victory over Brest, leaving them six points clear at the top with two matches remaining.

Dembélé's recognition comes alongside other awards, including the Best Young Player awarded to D. Sir and Best Coach awarded to Pierr Sage for guiding their teams to title contention and Champions League qualification.
