Gunmen Kill Seven in Plateau Village Attack

Gunmen invaded Bong Village in Plateau State, killing seven people and injuring several others in a recent attack. Eyewitnesses reported a house-to-house assault targeting women, children, and elderly residents.

Local government officials, including Lawrence Dogari and Danaan Cletu Sylvanu, confirmed the tragic incident. Christoph Audu Manship, the council chairman, condemned the attack and vowed to collaborate with security operatives to arrest the culprits.

The Plateau State Police Command spokesperson, Alabo Alfr, was unavailable for comment. The situation remains tense as investigations continue.
