KWAM1 Seeks Nullification of Awujale Nomination Meeting Over Alleged Exclusions

Popular Fuji musician KWAM1 has written to Ogun State Governor Abiodun, requesting the nullification of the Awujale nomination meeting for allegedly excluding certain members and violating state laws. The letter, dated January 14, 2026, accuses the process of being non-compliant with the Ogun State Oba Chief Law 2021.

KWAM1's lawyer, Dr. Wahab Shittu, urged Abiodun to declare the meeting null and void.

The nomination exercise held at Bisrod Hotel in Ijebu Ode reportedly restricted the entry of legitimate members, leading to disenfranchisement. This move has sparked a legal dispute over the transparency and fairness of the selection process.
