Nigerian Government to Boost Youth Agripreneurship for Food System Transformation

The Nigerian government, through the Ministry of Agriculture, is set to enhance youth agripreneurship in Nigeria to revolutionize the food system and uplift livelihoods. Senator Abubakar Kyari spearheaded a youth agripreneur workshop in Abuja with the theme of scaling up youth involvement in agriculture for economic growth.

The government aims to leverage digital tools, agro-processing, and agribusiness incubation to connect young farmers with markets and financing. President Bola Tinubu emphasized agriculture as a key driver of economic transformation and sustainable development.
