Nigerian Experts Advocate Livestock Investment for Food Security

The Animal Science Association of Nigeria (ASAN) in Edo State highlighted the importance of livestock investment for food security during the World Egg Day 2025 event. Peter Uadia Aikhuomogb, the state chairman, stressed the need to focus on the livestock sector to address food security challenges.

He mentioned the economic potential of the livestock subsector and the necessity for a strong partnership between academia, policymakers, and farmers to bridge the gap in research and technology dissemination.
