Ahead of FIFA U-20 W/Cup: Dutch-based Stockbrink Nets Brace in Flying Eagles Training

David Stockbrink, a rising star in the Flying Eagles team, scored a brace during training ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The tournament is set to take place in Chile from September 27 to October 20, 2025.

Stockbrink, born to a German father and Nigerian mother from Delta State, impressed during the training session held at the FIFA Goal Project Pitch in Abuja. The Dutch-based forward, who missed the 2025 African Youth Championship due to injury, declared his fitness and readiness for the upcoming World Cup.

Coach Zubairu split the squad into two parts for intensive training, with Stockbrink aiming to secure a spot in the final squad. The young player expressed his passion for representing Nigeria and promised to give his best, urging fans to support the team.
