Nigeria's Flying Eagles Prepare for 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile

Nigeria's Flying Eagles are set to participate in the 24th edition of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Chile, South America, from September 27 to October 19, 2025. The team secured qualification by reaching the 2025 U20 Cup of Nations final, where they lost to South Africa but claimed bronze by beating Egypt.

The squad, led by Coach Aliyu Zubairu, includes players from Nigerian academies, NPFL clubs, and European outfits. They are drawn in Group F alongside Norway, Saudi Arabia, and Colombia.

This tournament marks Nigeria's 14th appearance in the global showpiece, with hopes of clinching their first FIFA U20 World Cup title since reaching the final in 1989 and 2005.
