Nigerian Air Force Chief Strengthens Global Defense Ties in China

Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, Chief of Air Staff (CAS), reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force's commitment to global defense partnerships during a weeklong visit to China from August 24 to 30, 2025. CAS inspected key aerospace facilities and engaged with top aviation and defense companies in China to enhance operational effectiveness and international collaboration.

The delegation, led by CAS, met with China National Import Export Corporation (CATIC) and Haerbin Aircraft Company, focusing on sustaining platform serviceability, spare part supplies, and training opportunities for NAF personnel. The visit aimed to strengthen defense ties and boost operational capabilities through strategic partnerships.
