Nigerian Air Force Destroys Terrorist Hub in Katsina

On May 1, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) executed a precision airstrike against a terrorist logistics hub located in the Dan Aji forest within the Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina. According to a statement from Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, the operation was prompted by intelligence reports indicating a resurgence of terrorist activities in the area, linked to the notorious kingpin Abasu Aiki.

The airstrike targeted a known logistics hub used by terrorists operating across Faskari, Kankara, and Funtua. The operation successfully neutralized several terrorists and destroyed associated structures, including an armament depot and motorbikes.

The strike triggered explosions that caused widespread fires, significantly degrading the operational capacity of the terrorist group and disrupting their movement and resupply efforts in the region. This operation underscores the NAF's commitment to dismantling terrorist networks and denying them safe havens.
