NAF Airstrikes Neutralize Terrorists in Katsina Operation

On May 1, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) executed precise airstrikes against a terrorist enclave in Katsina, specifically within the Dan Aji Forest in the Faskari Local Government Area. The operation targeted a known logistics hub associated with the terrorist kingpin Abasu Aiki, who is linked to operations across Faskari, Kankara, and Funtua.

Intelligence reports indicated a resurgence of terrorist activities in the area, prompting the NAF to deploy air assets to identify armed terrorists and their motorcycles within the enclave.
