Air Peace Takes Delivery Of Fourth Boeing 777, Boosts Global Expansion Drive

Air Peace Limited has recently taken delivery of its fourth Boeing 777 aircraft, solidifying its position as the largest carrier in West and Central Africa and furthering its global expansion plans. The aircraft arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos from Teruel, Spain on August 22, 2025, and was welcomed with a traditional salute reception.

The airline's Chairman, Allen Onyema, described the acquisition as a pivotal milestone in the airline's growth trajectory. The aircraft is configured with 26 business class seats and 286 economy seats, offering enhanced comfort and modern amenities.

Air Peace plans to deploy the aircraft on its inaugural flights from Abuja to London Heathrow and Gatwick airports in the next two months, with further plans to expand to new routes in Europe, South America, particularly São Paulo, Brazil, and the Caribbean. Onyema reiterated the airline's commitment to providing affordable international travel options for Nigerians and praised the support of President Bola Tinub.
