Nigerian Airlines Increase Ticket Prices Ahead of Christmas Due to High Demand and Capacity Shortages

Air Peace, for example, set the price for a return ticket from Lagos to Asaba at N715,000. Experts note that the industry is facing challenges with a significant number of aircraft grounded for maintenance, leading to cancellations and delays.

Industry stakeholders like Yinka Afolami from NANTA and Daisi Olotu from Dee Travel Tour and Investment Limited have highlighted the impact of capacity shortages on ticket prices and operations.
