Air Peace Warns of Flight Delays Due to Fuel Shortage

Air Peace, Nigeria's largest carrier, has issued a warning to passengers regarding possible flight delays across its network due to ongoing aviation fuel supply constraints. The situation has begun to affect scheduled departures, as stated in a management announcement made on Saturday.

The airline noted that the availability of Jet A1 fuel remains limited, impacting operations nationwide. Air Peace is actively engaging with relevant partners to address the situation and reduce inconveniences for passengers.

The airline has also announced a temporary reduction in its Abuja-London service to three weekly flights, effective until July 1, 2026, to maintain safety and operational reliability. Passengers are advised to contact the airline's call center for rescheduling without additional costs.

The fuel supply challenges have led to passenger complaints on social media, with reality TV personality Anita Natacha Akide expressing frustration over delays affecting her plans to attend a wedding.
