The purchases were made across five trading days on multiple European venues including the London Stock Exchange, BATS Europe, CHI-X Europe, Aquis Exchange, and Turquoise.

Daily volumes and volume-weighted average prices were as follows: 900,436 shares at 341.15p on 8 June; 844,474 shares at 348.57p on 9 June; 965,295 shares at 345.64p on 10 June; 750,000 shares at 355.64p on 11 June; and 29,324 shares at 365.67p on 12 June. Prices ranged from a weekly low of 334.00p to a high of 368.80p per share.

The company stated that all purchased shares will be cancelled. Since the buyback programme commenced on 22 May 2026, Airtel Africa has purchased a cumulative total of 7,397,992 ordinary shares at a volume-weighted average price of 343.17p per share. The buyback authority was granted by shareholders and announced on 22 May 2026.
