Airtel Africa Foundation Empowers Nigerian Students with Tech Scholarships

Airtel Africa Foundation has awarded tech scholarships to Nigerian students Terence Ifeanyichukwu and Ali Usman to study technology, including Artificial Intelligence, at Plaksha University in India. This initiative aims to advance education, empower youth, and nurture future tech leaders in Africa.

The Foundation's Chairman, Segun Ogunsanya, highlighted the importance of equipping African talents with skills to drive community change. Airtel Nigeria CEO, Dinesh Balsingh, emphasized the scholarship's role in building the human capital necessary for Nigeria's digital transformation.

The program aligns with efforts to boost Nigeria's digital economy by providing specialized education opportunities like the Airtel Africa Fellowship.
