Tim Akano Receives Distinguished Alumni Awards for Education and Philanthropy

Renowned entrepreneur and philanthropist Tim Akano has been honored with distinguished alumni awards from Obafemi Awolowo University and Baptist Day School Oluponna for his exceptional contributions to education, mentorship, and technology innovation. Akano, a 1983 graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, has been recognized for his global impact in entrepreneurship, technology innovation, and sustainable mentorship.

He also received the first-ever distinguished alumni award from Baptist Day School Oluponna, established in 1930. Akano's visit to the school included inspecting various infrastructure projects funded by the Tim Akano Foundation.
