Akwa Ibom APC Adopts Umo Eno for Gubernatorial Elections

The Akwa Ibom State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially adopted Governor Umo Eno as its sole governorship candidate for the forthcoming elections. This resolution was made during a meeting held on Wednesday, attended by key party leaders including Nelson Ntia, Ekong Sampson, and Dr. Eunic Thoma.

The meeting, convened by APC chairman Tom Nkanang and facilitated by Chief Press Secretary Ekeret Udoh, aimed to unify party members ahead of the elections. Pat Ifon, a political leader, urged members to remain united and avoid internal conflicts to ensure the party's success.

The leadership emphasized the importance of supporting Eno and called for a collective effort to achieve victory in the elections. The party also recognized the need to reconcile any grievances among members to maintain cohesion.
