Ekiti Governor Oyebanji Wins Best Tourism Governor Award at Akwaaba 2025

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji was honored as the Best Tourism Governor at the 21st Akwaaba African Travel Market 2025. Ekiti emerged as the Most Active Tourism State in Nigeria, showcasing its tourism potential.

The awards were based on a rigorous poll conducted by African Traveller Quarterly magazine in partnership with Akwaaba. Governor Oyebanji's efforts in revitalizing Ekiti's tourism sector were praised by stakeholders across Africa.
