Alalshikh Proposes Late Start for Fury-Joshua Fight

Turki Alalshikh has proposed conditions for a heavyweight boxing match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua to take place at Wembley Stadium. He intends to hold discussions with London Mayor Sadiq Khan to secure permission for a late-night fight, potentially starting at 4 AM GMT, to suit prime-time viewers in the United States.

Alalshikh emphasized the importance of accommodating global television audiences, particularly in America, for the fight to be successful. The Mayor's office has expressed readiness to support efforts to bring the event to London, although they did not directly comment on the feasibility of a later start time.

Wembley Stadium has previously hosted significant boxing events, including a record crowd of 90,000 for the fight between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois. Tyson Fury is expected to return to the ring later this month, with a proposed fight against Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand, while Anthony Joshua is set to face Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
