Alert Group Earns Fastest-Growing Financial Services Award

Alert Group has been recognized as the Fastest-Growing Financial Services Group of the Year at the 2026 BusinessDay Banks and Other Financial Institutions Awards. This accolade acknowledges the group's business expansion, financial performance, and efforts to enhance access to financial services in Nigeria.

The award ceremony took place at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. Dr. Kazeem Olanrewaju, Group Chief Executive Officer of Alert Group, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the group's commitment to financial inclusion and sustainable growth.

Alert Group operates through four subsidiaries: Alert Microfinance Bank Limited, Auto Bucks Lenders Limited, Bucksfield Asset Management, and Greenbucks Limited, providing services in microfinance banking, SME lending, investment and asset management, and clean energy financing. The group's growth has been bolstered by Alert Microfinance Bank's acquisition of a national microfinance banking licence from the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2026, allowing it to extend services to more communities.
