NDC's Agada urges Otti to support Obi, not Tinubu

Theo Abu Agada, the Director of New Media and Strategic Communications for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), stated that Governor Alex Otti of Abia State should actively campaign for Peter Obi, the NDC's presidential candidate for the 2027 elections. Agada pointed out that Otti was the largest beneficiary of the political momentum generated by Obi during the 2023 elections, where Obi ran for President and lost, while Otti was elected governor.

Agada criticized Otti for supporting President Bola Tinubu's policies, which he described as "anti-people reforms," suggesting that by doing so, Otti is endorsing Tinubu for a second term. Agada's comments were shared on the social media platform X, where he asserted that Otti owes his political success to Obi and should align himself with the NDC's objectives.
