Algeria 2025: Nigeria Shines at 1st African School Games as NTIC Wins 7 Medals

Nigeria's Tulip International Colleges (NTIC) emerged as a dominant force at the 1st African School Games in Algeria in 2025, winning a total of 25 medals in various sports. NTIC students contributed significantly to this success, with athletes like Miracle Ezechukwu and Rosemary Nwakwo clinching multiple gold and silver medals in events like medley relay and sprinting.

The management of NTIC praised the students for their exemplary performance, highlighting the honor they brought to the country. Nigeria finished 4th in the overall medal standings, behind Algeria, Egypt, and Tunisia.

In a separate event, three students from Yobe State, including Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, excelled in an English language communication debate in the UK, showcasing their skills in reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
