According to the latest Forbes billionaires ranking, Alice Walton, the Walmart heiress, has once again claimed the title of the world's richest woman with a fortune of $134 billion, dethroning L'Oréal heiress François Bettencourt Meyers. This marks the second consecutive year Walton has held this position, highlighting her dominance among female billionaires in a predominantly male global wealth landscape.

Beyoncé has made her debut on the list this year with an estimated net worth of $1 billion, contributing to the slow but steady growth of women among the world's wealthiest individuals. The 2023 list features 3,428 billionaires, of which 481 are women, an increase from 406 last year.

Notable shifts include Iri Fontbona rising to fourth place with $52.6 billion, surpassing Jacqueline Mars, who fell to fifth with $49.1 billion. The list also includes self-made women like Rihanna and Taylor Swift, showcasing the dynamic nature of inherited wealth among women.
