Akagburuonye's 60th Birthday Bash Set for February 2026

Obioma Akagburuonye is set to celebrate his 60th birthday with a series of events from February 19 to February 22, 2026, in Imo State, Nigeria. The celebration will include the launch of his autobiography titled "God Story Grace Resilience." The event is endorsed by Hon.

Eddi Obinna and Hon. Udo Njoku, who are the chairman and secretary of the central planning committee, respectively.

The activities aim to reflect on Akagburuonye's extraordinary impact over six decades, featuring a leadership conference with distinguished statesmen and faith leaders discussing ethical governance. Additionally, there will be a football match coordinated by Super Eagles legend Segun Odegbami to raise funds for community projects, including a new football pitch and a modern church.

The grand book launch will be chaired by former military head of state Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, with Ghanaian President John Mahama as the special guest of honor. Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma will host the event, which aims to honor Akagburuonye's vision for education, clean water, and community development.
