Bless CEO Awaiting Bail Ruling in N36m Fraud Case

Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Bless CEO, is involved in a N36 million fraud case being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, presided over by Justice Dipeolu, has scheduled a ruling on her bail application for June 9, 2026.

Okoro faces two counts of obtaining money under false pretenses. During a previous hearing on June 5, 2026, her defense counsel, P.

Nwafor, informed the court that part of the money involved, specifically N24 million, had already been refunded. The defense is seeking to resolve the outstanding balance with the complainant, which could lead to the EFCC dropping the case.

However, EFCC counsel S. Suleiman stated that discussions regarding a settlement do not halt the criminal proceedings.

The court has ordered Okoro to remain in EFCC custody pending further proceedings.
