EFCC Grills Ex-NNPC Boss Kyari Over Alleged Fraud Scandal

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) interrogated former Group Managing Executive Officer of NNPC, Mr. Mele Kyari, as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged fraud during his tenure.

Kyari was questioned about various contracts, including the Turn Around Maintenance (TAM) of refineries in Warri, Port Harcourt, and Kaduna. He was invited to explain his involvement in the refurbishment projects and contract awards at NNPC.

The interrogation took place at the EFCC headquarters in Jabi, Abuja. Kyari's responses are crucial to the investigation into corruption allegations within the national oil company.
