Oshiomhole Advises Jonathan Against 2027 Election Bid, Citing Legacy Risks

Former Edo State Governor, Oshiomhole, advised ex-President Goodluck Jonathan to preserve his statesman reputation by avoiding a return to active politics and contesting the 2027 presidential election. Oshiomhole warned that succumbing to pressure to run could tarnish the respect Jonathan earned through his concession in 2015.

He suggested that only Jonathan's enemies would want him to re-enter politics, emphasizing that the APC would easily defeat him if he chose to run.
