Alumni Push for Egbeoba High School's Return to Original Site

The Egbeoba High School Ikole Ekiti Alumni Association, led by President Prof. Femi Omotoso, is advocating for the return of their school to its original site, which was displaced by the federal government in 2000.

This displacement has significantly impacted the school's physical development and morale among students. The alumni expressed their concerns during a press conference in Ikole Ekiti, coinciding with the school's 70th anniversary celebrations.

They highlighted the need for infrastructural restoration and have committed N300 million towards a legacy project aimed at upgrading the school's facilities, including a state-of-the-art ICT center valued at N250 million. The alumni also emphasized the importance of modernizing educational techniques to enhance student performance in external examinations.

They praised the support from Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji for the education sector and urged further investment in technology-driven learning to prepare students for global competitiveness.
