Alumni Unveil Digital Initiative at School's 70th Anniversary Celebration

The Ladi Apostolic Secondary School Old Girls Association marked the school's 70th anniversary by unveiling a digital initiative that features mentorship programs, digital projects, and community outreach activities. The event brought together alumnae from different graduating sets to celebrate the school's legacy.

Former Nigerian First Lady, Josephine Effa Chukwuma, highlighted the importance of using technology to bridge the gap between alumnae and current students. The association aims to strengthen alumni involvement in the school and enhance digital facilities, including equipping a computer hub with internet access and solar power.

The anniversary activities, scheduled from March to June 2026, also included a thanksgiving mass, prize-giving day, gala night, and the launch of a mentorship program. Retired Lieutenant Colonel and alumna Margaret Obiwo described the reunion as a joyful experience that helps sustain lifelong bonds among members.
