Yejid Girl Grammar School Alumni Celebrate 70th Anniversary in Oyo State Reunion Event

Yejid Girl Grammar School in Ibadan, Oyo State, marked its 70th anniversary with a thanksgiving ceremony and a reunion carnival on the school premises in Monatan, Ibadan. The event was organized by the Yejid Girl Grammar School Old Girls Association and drew alumni from different graduating sets, including those from 1966 to 2015.

Notable attendees included Mojisola Giwa Osagi from the 1967 set, who emphasized the importance of giving back to the school and contributing to its development. Other alumni like Iyabo Alabi, Funmik Aboderin, Hadijat Lajid, and Opeloyeru Ibiyemi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and reminisce about their time at the school.

The alumni highlighted the school's legacy of producing successful women in various sectors and pledged to continue supporting their alma mater.
