Amaechi Submits ADC Presidential Form for 2023 Elections

Rotimi Amaechi, the former Governor of Rivers State and ex-Minister of Transport, has officially submitted his presidential nomination form to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Thursday. His decision to contest is driven by a desire to restore dignity to Nigeria and address the country's pressing economic and social challenges.

Amaechi, who previously was a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is now positioning himself within the ADC as he prepares for the next general elections. He is expected to compete in the ADC presidential primaries alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who is also an aspirant for the party.

The ADC has recently attracted various opposition politicians and political actors seeking alternative platforms outside the country's major political parties.
