Rivers State Speaker Hails Local Election Turnout as Free and Fair

Speaker of the Rivers State House Assembly, Martin Amaewhule, praised the voter turnout and the conduct of the local government election as free, fair, and credible. Amaewhule commended the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) for organizing a seamless exercise devoid of violence.

He highlighted the consciousness of the voters in Ward 1, Unit 15, emphasizing the importance of the election process. Amaewhule expressed hope that the election results would reflect the wishes of the people, noting the professionalism of the electoral officers and the peaceful atmosphere during the voting.
