Amaka Onwughalu Appointed as Fidelity Bank Chairman, Succeeds Mustafa Chike-Obi

Amaka Onwughalu has taken over as the Chairman of Fidelity Bank, following the tenure of Mustafa Chike-Obi until December 31, 2025. Chike-Obi's leadership saw the bank repay its Eurobond, oversubscribe its public offer, and strengthen its market confidence.

Onwughalu, with 30 years of banking experience, is expected to lead the bank into a new chapter of growth and value delivery. The transition aligns with the bank's policies and development strategies, as indicated in a statement released on Friday.
