Nigerian Senate Clarifies No Petitions Received Against Ambassadorial Nominees

The Nigerian Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu, stated that no formal petitions have been received against the recent list of ambassadorial nominees. Adaramodu clarified that the Senate has not yet received any written petitions through the proper channels.

The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs is currently reviewing the nominees, and once the screening process is complete, the Senate will have the opportunity to question the nominees before making final decisions. Adaramodu emphasized that the Senate retains the power to reject any nominee deemed unfit for the role.
