Amstel Malta Celebrates Super Falcons' WAFCON Victory

Amstel Malta congratulated Nigeria’s Super Falcons for their 1-0 victory over Zambia at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), with brand ambassador Asisat Oshoala scoring the only goal in the eighth minute. This victory followed Nigeria's disappointing opening defeat to Malawi and reignited their quest for a record-extending 11th continental title.

The Super Falcons showcased resilience, particularly after defender Oluwatosin Demehin was sent off, forcing the team to play with 10 players for much of the match.
