AMTI Names Okonkwo Entrepreneur of the Year for 2026

Christian Nwachukwu Okonkwo, the Chief Executive Officer of Chris Bethel Group Ltd, has been honored as the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Anambra Man of the Year AMTI award. This recognition is part of the 5th edition of the awards, set to take place on July 18, 2026, in Awka, Anambra State.

Okonkwo was selected for this accolade due to his sustained excellence across multiple industries, contributing significantly to job creation and enterprise development. The announcement was made through a letter signed jointly by Rev. Sr. Prof. Eugenia Adaoma Igwedibia, Chairman of the AMTI 5th edition planning committee, and Dr. Emeka Odogwu, Director of Media and Communication.

Okonkwo, a native of Okija in the Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State, has built a diversified business portfolio that includes logistics, real estate, oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals, beginning his entrepreneurial journey in the mid-1990s.
