Obinna Ufudo Named Anambra Corporate Person of the Decade

Obinna Chidi Ufudo has been honored as Anambra Corporate Person of the Decade by the Anambra Man of the Year Award (AMTY) for his influential role in corporate governance and enterprise growth across Nigeria's economic landscape. Ufudo's career, which spans over three decades, showcases a distinguished track record in driving high-impact corporate transformations and executing landmark transactions.

He currently serves as a non-executive director at Heir Holdings and is the founder and chairman of Atiat Limited, a financial services platform. His notable achievements include leading Transcorp PLC as Group Chief Executive Officer, where he executed a remarkable turnaround and facilitated a $300 million acquisition of the 972MW Ughelli Power Plant.

Ufudo's philanthropic efforts through the Sir Piu Ufudo Foundation focus on education and healthcare development in Anambra State. He holds a master's degree in International Securities Investment Banking from the University of Reading and an MBA from IES Business School, Spain.
