Anambra Governorship Election Faces Delays Due to BVAS Breakdown in Onitsha

The Anambra governorship election at a polling unit in Onitsha was stalled by a BVAS breakdown, causing delays in accreditation and voting. INEC officials were left stranded awaiting replacement devices, frustrating early voters.

The election features prominent candidates like Chukwuma Soludo (APGA), Nichola Ukachukwu (APC), and others across the state's three senatorial districts. Over 2.8 million registered voters are expected to participate in the election across 5,718 polling units in 21 LGAs.
