Soludo Appoints Chiamaka Nnake as Anambra SSG

On Monday, Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Charl Soludo appointed Chiamaka Nnake, a 39-year-old native of Nawfia in the Njikoka Local Government Area, as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

The announcement was made in a statement signed by the governor's press secretary, Christian Aburime. Nnake has 13 years of experience in finance and public sector strategy, having previously served as the chairman of the Commission on Budget and Economic Planning in the state.

She played a pivotal role in mobilizing resources for socio-economic development and has held leadership positions across various state boards, including the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency and the Internal Revenue Service Board. Nnake is also recognized for her contributions to the Human Capital Opportunities for Prosperity and Equity Hope Program.

Before her public service role, she was a senior strategy consultant at PwC Nigeria, where she led numerous client engagements. Nnake holds an MBA from Lagos Business School and graduated with first-class honors in Accounting from Benson Idahosa University.
