Soludo Appoints Chiamaka Nnake as Anambra SSG

On Monday, Anambra State Governor Prof. Chukwuma Charl Soludo announced the appointment of Chiamaka Nnake as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Nnake, a 39-year-old native of Nawfia in Njikoka Local Government Area, has over 13 years of experience in the finance sector and has served as the chairman of the Commission on Budget and Economic Planning for the state. She has been instrumental in mobilizing resources for socio-economic development and has held leadership roles across several state boards, including the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency and the Internal Revenue Service Board.

Nnake previously worked as a senior strategy consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Nigeria, where she led 30 client engagements across various sectors. She holds an MBA from Lagos Business School and graduated with first-class honors in Accounting from Benson Idahosa University.

Nnake is also a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and is pursuing a PhD in Public Policy.
