Andoma of Doma Intervenes in Nigeria Basketball Crisis, Urges Stakeholders to Unite

The Andoma of Doma in Nasarawa State, Dr. Ahmadu Aliyu Oga Onawo, has intervened in the Nigerian basketball crisis.

He commended prominent basketball promoter Mr. Igoch Mark for convening a meeting with stakeholders to discuss ways to safeguard basketball in Nigeria.

The meeting, held at the royal father's palace in Doma, aimed to unite the basketball family and address the current crisis in the Nigerian basketball scene. The Andoma of Doma urged stakeholders to set aside their differences and work towards improving Nigerian basketball.

Stakeholders were advised to overcome the current crisis caused by the elongated tenure of the present board of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) and to invest in the sport. Former D'Tiger captain Olumide Oyedeji also emphasized the need for greater responsibility among stakeholders and urged them to avoid character assassination and negative campaigns.
