Nottingham Forest Sacks Manager Sean Dyche After Poor Run

Nottingham Forest confirmed the departure of manager Sean Dyche on their official website in the early hours of Thursday, February 12, 2026. This decision came less than 24 hours after Tottenham Hotspur announced the sacking of Thomas Frank.

Dyche is the third manager to be dismissed by Nottingham Forest this season, following Nuno Espírito Santo and Ange Postecoglou, the latter of whom lasted only 39 days in charge. Dyche's exit follows a three-match winless streak in the Premier League, which included a draw against Crystal Palace and a damaging 3-1 loss to relegation rivals Leeds last Friday.

The club's owner, Evangelo Marinakis, is reportedly frustrated with the team's inability to utilize the attacking talent available and their failure to move away from the relegation zone, with Dyche leaving the club just three points above the relegation zone with 12 games remaining in the season.
