Anthony Joshua Honors Late Friends with Emotional Tattoo After Tragic Car Crash

Heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua paid tribute to his late friends, Sina Ghami and Latif Ayodel, who died in a car crash in Nigeria last month. The crash happened on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in December 2026 when their vehicle collided with a truck.

Joshua, who was in the car but survived, later returned to the UK and attended their funerals. He got their names tattooed on his arm as a heartfelt gesture.

The names "Sina Ghami" and "Latif Ayodel" were inked on his arm at a tattoo parlor in Fulham. Joshua, born to Nigerian parents in Watford, had been on holiday in Lagos before the tragic incident.

He had also won a fight against Jake Paul in Miami on December 19, just days before the crash. Joshua shared the tattoo images on Instagram, expressing his emotions over the loss of his friends.
