Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua fought back tears as he publicly spoke for the first time about a tragic car crash in Nigeria that killed his personal trainer, Latif "Latz" Ayodeji, and strength coach, Sina Ghami, on December 29. Joshua sustained minor injuries in the accident and was discharged from the hospital two days later.

In an emotional video message shared on YouTube, Joshua thanked fans worldwide for their support during this difficult time. He described the loss of Ayodeji and Ghami as leaving a deep void in his life.

Joshua attended a joint funeral service held in a mosque in London on January 4, alongside family members and friends. He has returned to the gym to train and promote fellow boxer Eddie Hearn.
