Anthony Joshua Signs Deal for Tyson Fury Fight

Anthony Joshua has officially signed a deal to face fellow former world champion Tyson Fury, as announced by promoter Eddie Hearn. This fight marks a significant moment in Joshua's career, which has been on hold since December 2025.

The anticipated clash between the two heavyweight champions has been in discussions for years, despite previous negotiation challenges. Hearn declared on social media that the showdown will occur after Joshua's fight against Albanian heavyweight Prenga, who has a record of 20 wins with stoppages and no defeats.

Tragically, in December, a car accident in Nigeria involving a member of Joshua's team resulted in the death of two people. While there is no official date or venue confirmed for the Joshua-Fury bout, Hearn previously suggested it could take place in November.

Joshua recently attended Fury's comeback victory against Arslanbek Makhmudov, where Fury secured a decisive win, further fueling interest in their potential matchup.
