Anti-party: Why Wike, others were not punished at PDP NEC meeting – Reps caucus Chairman, Agbedi

Chairman of the Caucus of the House of Representatives, Hon. Fred Agbedi, explained why former Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, was not punished at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja.

Agbedi stated that while Wike had committed and was still committing anti-party activities, the PDP understands the crisis and is working to resolve it. He emphasized the party's focus on rebuilding structures rather than chasing individuals.

Agbedi highlighted the need for the party to organize and deal with internal conflicts in a strategic manner, rather than hastily making decisions that could harm the party's survival. He stressed the importance of unity within the PDP ahead of the 2023 general elections.
