Nafi’u Bala Critiques Kwankwaso's Leadership in North

Nafi’u Bala, the faction leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), publicly criticized former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso in an interview with Premier Radio Kano. Bala accused Kwankwaso of failing to act in the best interests of Northern Nigeria, particularly during the last general elections.

He claimed that Kwankwaso's actions weakened the political strength of the region, especially in the context of the presidential race involving former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Bala alleged that Kwankwaso was aware he would not win the election, which ultimately divided the Northern vote and facilitated Bola Tinubu's victory.

Bala emphasized that Kwankwaso lacks the moral authority to discuss issues concerning the North, asserting that his past actions have prioritized personal interests over regional concerns.
