Nafiu Bala Challenges Kwankwaso Amid ADC Leadership Crisis

Nafiu Bala, the leader of a faction within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly confronted former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso amid an ongoing leadership crisis within the party. Bala accused Kwankwaso of acting against the interests of the ADC and failing to honor invitations aimed at resolving the disputes.

In a recent interview, he criticized Kwankwaso's approach, suggesting that younger politicians should not be dismissed by older figures. Bala firmly rejected Kwankwaso's remarks, asserting that the former governor's actions raised suspicions about his loyalty to the ADC.

He emphasized the importance of allowing younger leaders to take charge of the party and the nation, arguing that the future of Nigeria depends on empowering new generational leaders. Bala also recalled past political dynamics, noting that Kwankwaso had previously been urged to step down for regional unity, highlighting the current lack of moral justification for his refusal to do so.
